Profile Information

Why are you interested in this network?
Pitching my tent at the intersection of spaces, technology and creativity.
How do you like to learn?
Mainly by osmosis I suspect.
How do you deal with change?
I embrace most change as an exciting learning experience and a seed for growth.
What experience have you had with learning technologies & social media?
I've had my fingers in both in experimental ways, but I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to say I "understand" them. I'm intensely interested though.
How can we create really enjoyable learning experiences?
Barry Schwartz offers some good advice on this:

Anything else you'd like to add about yourself?
I'm working in a creative field where some of the key skills are very personal (individual talents) and sometimes hard to design or quantify. In a business environment this creates interesting tensions for those who enjoy standard-operating-procedures and pre-defined responses and outcomes. In an educational environment it raises interesting issues over what can be "taught", what needs to be "encouraged" and what is innate.
Do you run websites or blogs that you want to let us know about?
